Pulcris Plumbing and Heating is installing Pulsar Infloor underfloor heating as part of Mercantile Land Development’s new housing development in the historic town of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
With Berkhamsted castle and Britain’s oldest school on the doorstep it was crucial that the development of 14 one and two bedroom flats were designed and constructed sympathetically with the surrounding architecture. However, Mercantile Land Development Ltd was keen to inject contemporary luxury into the flats interior design by incorporating modern methods of heating.
Pulsar Infloor, underfloor heating has been installed throughout the development by Pulcris Plumbing and Heating. The system provides a more energy efficient method of heating, potentially saving the residents up to 30% off their annual heating bill, while maximising room space, therefore making it ideal for flat development.

The Pulsar underfloor heating system can be installed under a variety of floor coverings such as carpet, laminate, ceramic title and timber and the controls and manifolds are easily adaptable for any installation.
