The 2008 Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race “The Greatest Offshore Boat Race in the World”
Classed as possibly the greatest offshore powerboat race in the world and sure to give those competing a severe run for their money The Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race will run again for the first time in 25 years. The race will take place from the 21st to the 30th of June and will start and finish in Portsmouth.
Team Pulsar has entered 2 boats in this 1600 mile marathon. Our intentions are to compete at the highest level in our class and complete the race successfully. We aim, with your support to raise a substantial sum of money for our nominated charities and support those that are less well off than ourselves. The Race
An 8.5m Humber Offshore RIB with a Suzuki DF300 Outboard.

A grueling 1600 mile marathon the Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race was first run in 1969 and then again in 1984. The Race will be run for only the third time in June 2008 with over 70 boats competing for the original 1969 Round Britain Trophy. (More...) News
